Midmark presents the 417 Power Podiatry Chair—made just for podiatrists. Before we designed the 417 Power Podiatry Chair, we listened to what podiatrists like you wanted. Then we built the podiatry chair from the ground up. You'll find it's "just what the podiatrist ordered." It will put your patients' feet exactly where you want them.
Convenient low height
Your patients will appreciate how easy it is to get on and off the 417, with its low minimum height of 22 1/2". They'll like the sculptured top, built-in pillow and smooth, rounded chair arms that move as the back section moves. Makes your patients feel secure. The 417's seat section goes as high as 41"—easy for you to work standing or seated at whatever height is most comfortable for you.
It's beautiful
The first things you'll notice about the 417 Power Podiatry Chair are its good looks, contemporary styling and clean lines. And it's easy to keep your 417 looking good. Dirt and stain-resistant vinyl back, seat and foot sections are fastened with Velcro, so they're easy to remove. Makes care, cleaning and changing colors a breeze! And you can choose from thirteen upholstery colors to coordinate with Midmark Modular Casework.
User friendly, simultaneous movement
As easy to program as a car radio, the 417 Power Podiatry Chair is the fastest power podiatric treatment chair available. Simply touch a button on the foot control or optional Hand-held Commander to achieve one of your pre-programmed positions—height, tilt and back move simultaneously. The standard foot control helps you maintain the sterile field while positioning patients during surgical procedures. Use it yourself...or have your assistant do it. The auto return function brings the 417 back to the chair position. It will save you precious seconds on each procedure.
Foot control
A touch of your toe is all it takes! You control height, tilt and back with three power positioning choices and two programmed positions. Place the lightweight foot control anywhere around the table—it won't slip, slide or scuff your floors. The plastic molding is durable and easy to clean. The control's standard telephone cord connection plugs into the front of the chair's base or left side hand control outlet.
Hand-held Commander
The Hand-held Commander is an accessory and offers you three power positioning choices—height, tilt and back—and four programmed positions, two more than with the foot control. But it's just as easy to use. When not using the Commander, just place it in its holder mounted on either side of the foot section.
Foot extension
Do a lot of orthotics? The 417's adjustable foot extension makes orthotic procedures easier by positioning patients' feet exactly where you need them. It extends 8 7/8" and comfortably accommodates patients of all sizes. Prefer to work standing? With the 417 at maximum tilt, the foot extension can be as high as 58". Locks automatically to avoid accidental movement.
Debris tray
It's conveniently located underneath the foot section. Just pull it out when you want to use it. It tilts 180° so you can dispose of waste into your waste receptacle without having to remove the tray. The tray tilts at various angles, depending on the tilt of the chair and can extend 8 3/4" beyond the foot section so it's not in your way. All done? Slide tray underneath the foot section. Rounded corners make cleaning easy. Just remove by rotating tray knobs.
Electric receptacles, on/off switch
Two duplex hospital grade electrical receptacles—one on each side of the chair—let you use electrical instruments and lights without tangling or tripping over cords. Flip the 417's on/off switch to "off" during delicate procedures to prevent any accidental movement. Power is still supplied to the receptacles.
Built to last
The 417 will help increase your income for years to come. Heavy-duty construction and state-of-the-art electronics ensure a long-lasting relationship between you and your 417. The durable electro-mechanical drive offers smooth, quiet and reliable movement throughout positioning.
